Additional Flow and Catchment Discharge¶
Additional flow¶
An additional flow can be specified as a discharge. It will be included in the total runoff of the catchment.
The additional flow is specified as a constant value from MIKE 11 and MIKE+.
Catchment discharge¶
Catchment discharges can be specified as boundary conditions for a catchment.
MOUSE: named dry weather flow There are 3 ways of specifying DWF from MIKE+:
-
Constant: Average (m3/s)
-
Cyclic
- Average (m3/s) - Catchment Area based (m3/s/m2) - Population Equivalent based (m3/s/PE)
-
Time series
MIKE 11: Load based on inhabitants Catchment discharge is specified as load based on inhabitants (PE). An additional time series for load is specified on the time series, when the flow is based on load based on inhabitants (PE > 0).
Total load¶
The total load of the catchment includes the additional flow and the catchment discharge.
