Accumulated events¶
The description and criteria for instantaneous events do not apply for accumulated quantities such as volume, mass etc. For these quantities, independent events are determined exclusively based on the specified interevent time criterion. For example, two overflow volumes are considered as independent if the interevent time with zero overflow is longer than the specified time parameter.
Statistics for accumulated quantities include both the accumulated quantity value during an event and the duration of the event.
